Myra Elizabeth Mimlitsch, 72, of Tioga, PA, died November 2, 2004 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.  She was born December 15, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Charles B. & Marie A. Gairing Buck.  Myra had taught science at Lenape High School in Medford, NJ.  She was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church, and had served as chairman of the procurement committee of the Mansfield Area Food Pantry for 10 years.  She was named Mansfield Woman of the Year in 2003-2004 by the Mansfield BPW.  Myra is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul J., 4 sons, Paul C. of Vincentown, NJ, Carl of Sicklerville, NJ, Francis of Colorado Springs, CO, Stephen of Shamong, NJ, a daughter, Myra T. Sara Mae Maxson, 72, formerly of Mansfield, PA, passed away June 16, 2004 at the home of her daughter in Dallas, TX, following an extended illness.  She was born July 27, 1931 in Shamokin, PA, the daughter of George & Marie Livingston.  Sara was a graduate of Frackville High School Class of 1949, and Lycoming College Class of 1951 with a degree as a Medical Secretary.  She was employed by the Lebanon, PA Veterans Hospital from 1951 to 1954.  Sara returned to Mansfield State College and received her B.S. in education in 1976.  She taught at Immaculate Conception School in Wellsville, NY, until her retirement in 2001.  Sara is survived by a son, David Maxson of Virginia Beach, VA, 2 daughters, Kathi Freemann of Broomfield, CO, Carolyn Steward of Dallas, TX, 5 grandchildren, Jessica & Matthew Freeman, K.T. & Dayton Steward, & Robert Maxson.  She was predeceased by her husband of 21 years, Robert T. Earl L. (Tim) Martin, 66, formerly of Mansfield, PA, died May 30, 2007, at the home of his daughter in Blossburg, PA. He was born July 30, 1940 in Meadville, PA, the son of Horace Sr. & June Hardy Martin. Tim was a retired truck driver and a U. S. Army Veteran. Paul E. Maneval, 89, formerly of Mansfield, PA, passed away February 4, 2008 at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born August 30, 1918 in Liberty, PA, the son of Harold & Kathryn Fick Maneval. Paul was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield, a 60 year member of Friendship Lodge # 247 F&AM, and the Coudersport Consistory. Paul was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1937. He had been employed at Billard’s Foundry. He later was a dock worker & truck driver at Taynton Trucking, Wellsboro, retiring in 1977. Paul and wife Ruth, enjoyed traveling the Eastern U. S. They also enjoyed their pet cat, entertaining in their home, and gardening. Paul was an avid fisherman. People will remember his encouraging ways, straightforward attitude, and generosity. Paul considered Jesus Christ his personal friend. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, the former, Ruth Stout, and 4 cousins, Doris Hotchkiss of Mansfield, Chester, & Clair Maneval, both of Williamsport, & Shirley West of Montgomery. Freece E. Morris, 92, of Blossburg, PA, formerly of Broadway, PA, passed away June 10, 2010, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born July 20, 1917, in Sweet Valley, PA, the son of Albert & Maude Gregory Morris. Freece was a member of the Fairmount Springs United Methodist Church and attended the First Baptist Church in Blossburg. He was a committed follower of Christ and a respected member of his community. Freece was a Boy Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher, a Patterson Grove trustee, a member of the Grange, an honorary member of the WCTU, and held offices in Broadway United Methodist Church and Harveyville U.M. charge. Ruth E. Maneval, 86, formerly of Mansfield, PA, passed away December 26, 2010, at the Green Home Inc., Wellsboro, PA. She was born May 29, 1924 in Mansfield, the daughter of Fred & Beatrice Canfield Stout. Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield. She was a Red Cross volunteer for a number of years, serving with the Gray Ladies at the Wellsboro Hospital. Ruth also volunteered with the Bradford-Tioga Head Start Program. She was a graduate of Mansfield High School Class of 1942, and prior to marriage was employed by the Artistic Card Company. Ruth was everyone’s Aunt. She especially enjoyed children. She was devoted to her husband, her home, and her pets. Hers was a spirit of perspicuous gentleness. She could turn a simple event into a celebration. Yard sales at Maneval’s were renown. Francis William Mitchell  86, formerly of Mansfield Pa passed away May 22, 2012 at Arden Courts Alzheimers and Memory Loss facility in Pittsburgh Pa.
He was a business owner of Mitchells Service Station and Auto Parts, in Mansfield, beginning his career in 1950. He was a veteran of WWII, an active member in Holy Child Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Friends and family are invited to call at Holy Child Catholic Church, S. Main St Mansfield from 10 - 12 Friday the 25th.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow there Friday. at noon with Fr. Michael Bryant, his nephew, celebrant..  Burial will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Morris Run, Pa.

• Hilda J. Morris, 96, formerly of Riverside Park, Blossburg, PA, & Broadway, PA, passed away February 2, 2013, at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. She was a member of the Fairmount Springs United Methodist Church and attended the First Baptist Church of Blossburg. Hilda was a committed follower of Christ and a respected member of her community. She was a lay leader in the United Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher, a member of both the American Baptist Women of Blossburg and the United Methodist Women of Harveyville Charge, a member of the Grange, an officer of the Sweet Valley WCTU, and held offices in Broadway United Methodist Church and Harveyville U.M. Charge. Hilda was born on September 28, 1916, in Sweet Valley, PA, the daughter of J. Clark & F. Jessie Masters Edwards. She was married to Freece Morris on June 26, 1937, and he preceded her in death in 2010. She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Linda & John Shypulefski, a son-in-law, Allen ((Paige) Michael, grandchildren, Amy & David Duty, Brent Shypulefski, Stephanie & Dan Herr, RueAnn & Fulton Lopez, Adam Morris, and Kurt & Holly Michael, and 10 great grandchildren, Callie, Nathanael, Nathan, Micah, Faith, Luke, Kaleb, Mason, Liam, & Seth. Friends are invited to call Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Blossburg. A memorial service will follow there at 11:00 AM, followed by lunch at the Church. Friends may also call July 27, 2013 at the Fairmount Springs United Methodist Church, 17 Old County Road, Benton, PA beginning at 9:30 AM. A memorial service will follow there that day at 11:00 AM. Albert William “Bill” Miller, 87, of Tioga, PA, passed away March 24, 2013, at home.  He was born December 20, 1925, in Tioga, PA, the son of Albert & Irene Howe Miller.  Bill is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Dale & Gail Miller, of Raleigh, NC, a daughter, Sharon Swanson of Allentown, PA, 2 grandchildren, Eric Swanson of Allentown, PA, & Shannon Miller of Raleigh, NC, 2 great grandchildren, Sean & Ryder Swanson, both of Allentown, PA, a brother, Robert of Westfield, PA, & 3 sisters, Anna Mae Everett, Donna Holleran, & Joann Wicks, all of Tioga, PA.  He was predeceased by his wife, Eloise.  At Bill’s request, private funeral services will be held with Pastor Debbie Button officiating.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA.  Sympath”e” cards may be sent to Bill’s family at www.wilstonfuneralhome.com.
