She was born November 26, 1941, in Allentown, PA, the daughter of Vincent & Gertrude Rhoads Harkins. Janet was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club, served 17 years as an EMT in Quakertown, PA, and was employed for 22 years at WR Grace in Quakertown. Currently she was employed at the Mansfield Wal-Mart. Janet is survived by her mother & step-father, Mr. & Mrs. J. Lester Schlegel of Quakertown, PA, 2 sons, Jeffrey of Portage, WI, Gregory of Quakertown, PA, 2 daughters, Donna Locke of Spring City, PA, Diana Gleockler of Quakertown, PA, 2 brothers, Kenneth Harkins of Blanchard ID, Gerald Schlegel of Schnecksville, PA, a sister, Mary Schlegel of Holbrook, New South Wales, Australia, & 7 grandchildren. Barbara J. Gee, 69, of Covington, PA, November 10, 2002 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was born April 16, 1933, in Wellsboro, PA, the daughter of her step-father & mother, Walter & Ruth Mahosky. Barbara retired after 29 years service from Northwest Savings, formerly Commonwealth Bank & Trust. She was a member of the Covington Church of Christ, & Twilight Chapter #475 OES. Barbara is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leonard, 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Steven & Shalane Gee of Mansfield, PA, Gary & Darlene Gee of Ridgebury, PA, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 2 half-brothers & 5 half-sisters. Charlotte W. Garside, 90, formerly of Mansfield, PA, August, 30, 2006 at Bradford County Manor, Troy, PA. She was born January 28, 1916 in Mansfield, PA, the daughter of Earl & Elma Mastin Wade. She retired after 31 years of teaching at R. B. Walter Elementary School , and had served as a Republican Committee Woman. Charlotte was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, the D.A.R., Twilight chapter # 475 O.E.S., & the retired PA Teachers Association. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Andrus of Mansfield, PA, 3 grandchildren, & 4 great grandchildren. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1981, & a sister, June Judge. Paul Gorda, 86, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away May 11, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born July 4, 1925 in Throop, PA, the son of Alexander Sr. & Anna Nemerovich Gorda. Paul was a retired dairy farmer. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving aboard the USS Guam as part of Admiral Halsey’s 3rd fleet.
