Edward Deming, 88, of Lawrenceville, PA, July 20, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elmira, NY.  He was born December 10, 1913, in Lawrenceville, PA, the son of Riley & Blanche Vanwie Deming.  Ed was a retiree of Atlantic Richfield.  He was a member of Moose Lodge # 746, Elkland, PA, and an honorary member of the Lawrenceville Fire Department.  He is survived by his wife, the former, Fern Young, 4 sons, Jams of Lindley, NY, Donald of St. Petersburg, FL, Edward (Butch) of Lawrenceville, PA, Jack of Vancouver, WA, 3 daughters, Donna Brown of Lawrenceville, PA, Mary Wilcox of St. Petersburg, FL, Dawn Comfort of Gillett, PA, 12 grandchildren, & 15 great grandchildren.  Private graveside services were held at East Lawrence Cemetery with Rev. Donna C. Dahlgren, 73, of Covington, PA, March 9, 2003 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.  She was born October 10, 1929 in Covington, Pa, the daughter of Fred & Ruth Lounsbery Cowan.  Donna is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Bonney & Gary DosSantos of Riverton, NJ, and 2 grandchildren, Todd & Tara.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles ”Chick” Dahlgren in 1999.  Chick & Donna were the retired owners of Dahlgren Chevrolet in Mansfield, PA.  Donna was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1947, and attended Elmira Business College.  She was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church.  Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home 18 N. Billy H. Dilly, 58, of Tioga, PA, died February 14, 2005 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA.  He was born June 5, 1946 in Mannington, WV, the son of Stanley & Nellie Sloan Dilly.  Billy was a retiree of Ingersoll-Rand, Painted Post, NY, and a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Tioga, PA.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, the former, Mary Smith, 1 son & daughter-in-law, William & Lisa Dilly of Tioga, PA, 2 daughters & a son-in-law, Teresa & George Heck of Tioga, PA, Debra Dilly Mosher of Blossburg, PA, 6 grandchildren, Andrew & Samantha Heck, Danielle & Dustin Mosher, Josh & Trevor Dilly, 2 brothers, Roy of Wellsboro, PA, Walter of Lawrenceville, PA, 3 sisters, Genevieve Stock of Wellsboro, PA, Betty Knapp & Helen Knapp, both of Lawrenceville, PA, and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Dilly of Tioga, PA.  Friends are invited to call at the Gary W. Anna Belle Davis, 97, formerly of Mansfield, PA, died February 28, 2005 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA.  She was born June 21, 1907 in Cogan Station, PA, the daughter of Collins & Mary Phelps.  Anna Belle was a member of the Canoe Camp Church of Christ’s Disciples.  She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Mary Ann & Ronald Sick of Wellsboro, PA, a son & daughter-in-law, Fred & Vida Davis of Mansfield, PA, 2 grandsons, David (Cherisse) Sick of Linden, PA, Timothy (Karen) Sick of Wellsboro, PA, 7 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren.  Anna Belle was predeceased by her husband, Leigh,  a granddaughter, Sherry Rhoads, and six brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be held at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home 18 N. Bernice E. Davis, 90, formerly of Lawrenceville, PA, died November 15, 2006 at Founders Pavilion, Corning, NY. She was born July 13, 1916 in Lawrence Township, the daughter of Ernest and Vera Middaugh Tillinghast. Bernice attended the East Lawrence Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Richard Davis of Berwick, PA, Eugene (Virginia) Davis of Warner Robbins, GA, Kenneth (Janice) Davis of Tioga, PA; three daughters, Lorraine (Roland) Satterlee, Carolyn Tomlinson and Charlene Siciliano, all of Lawrenceville, PA; two sisters, Elizabeth (Al) Collum of Tioga, PA, Beverly Corwin of Holiday, FL; a brother, Albert (Patty) Tillinghast of Lawrenceville, PA; 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Ermin (Short) Dunkleberger, 82, of Mansfield, PA, passed away September 1, 2007 at Broad Acres Nursing Home. He was born October 30, 1924 in Balls Mills, PA, the son of Trevette & Mary Elizabeth Brucklacher Dunkleberger. Short was a retired farmer, and also worked at Mansfield University & Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church, Friendship Lodge # 247 F&AM, and the Coudersport Consistory. Short is survived by his wife of 16 years, the former, Shirley Loud, 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Patricia, Thomas & Linda, all of Mansfield, PA, 4 step children John Whittaker of Rochester, NY, Laurie Swartz & Sandy Colegrove, both of Mansfield, PA, Tina Kendall of Beaver Dams, NY, a sister-in-law, Myrtle Dunkleberger of Millerton, PA, a step sister, Beatrice Mae Seymour of Odessa, NY, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, & 5 step grandchildren. Ronald G. Day, 82, of Mansfield, PA, passed away November 12, 2009 at the Green Home, Wellsboro. He was born May 8, 1927 in Mansfield, the son of Ralph & Lenora Markowitz Day. Ron was employed by Penelec and Ralph’s Service Center. He was a WWII U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of Friendship Lodge # 247 F&AM, a life member of the Lone Camp, Cedar Run, and served on the Mansfield Water Authority. Clayton C. Dyke Jr., 61, of Millerton, PA, passed away March 29, 2010, at home. He was born January 11, 1949 in Mansfield, PA, the son of Clayton Sr. & Joyce Dann Dyke. Clay was a retiree of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elmira, NY. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Millerton Wesleyan Church. Clay is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former, June Kinney, 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Clayton III & Fetu Dyke of Prescott, AZ, Michael & Katerina Dyke of McGuire Air Force Base, NJ, 2 daughters & a son-in-law, June E. Dyke of Millerton, PA, Anne & Michael Brooks of Tioga, PA, sisters, Myrtle Rice of Rochester, NY, Patricia Merkel of Mechanicsville, MD, brothers, Harold Brown of Corning, NY, Robert D.  Roswell H. Doughty, 82, of Mansfield, PA, passed away May 22, 2011 at Bradford County Manor. He was born October 30, 1928 in Elmira, NY, the son of Thomas & Katherine Webster Doughty. Roswell was a retired farmer and salesman at the Tioga County Candy Company & Garrison’s Men’s Store. He enjoyed visiting with his coffee club friends at Eddie’s Restaurant, and was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former, Donna Benson, 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Thomas & Karen Doughty of Avon Park, FL, Mickey & Lou Ann Doughty of Blandon, PA, Bruce Doughty of Williamsport, PA, 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Diane & Kerry Vannote of Towanda, PA, Sheila & David Langan of Brodheadsville, PA, a sister, Lucille Matteson of Mansfield, PA, a sister-in-law, Venita (Pete) Parker of Liberty, PA, 6 grandchildren, & several nieces & nephews.
