Edward Deming, 88, of Lawrenceville, PA, July 20, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elmira, NY. He was born December 10, 1913, in Lawrenceville, PA, the son of Riley & Blanche Vanwie Deming. Ed was a retiree of Atlantic Richfield. He was a member of Moose Lodge # 746, Elkland, PA, and an honorary member of the Lawrenceville Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, the former, Fern Young, 4 sons, Jams of Lindley, NY, Donald of St. Petersburg, FL, Edward (Butch) of Lawrenceville, PA, Jack of Vancouver, WA, 3 daughters, Donna Brown of Lawrenceville, PA, Mary Wilcox of St. Petersburg, FL, Dawn Comfort of Gillett, PA, 12 grandchildren, & 15 great grandchildren. Donna C. Dahlgren, 73, of Covington, PA, March 9, 2003 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was born October 10, 1929 in Covington, Pa, the daughter of Fred & Ruth Lounsbery Cowan. Donna is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Bonney & Gary DosSantos of Riverton, NJ, and 2 grandchildren, Todd & Tara. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles ”Chick” Dahlgren in 1999. Chick & Donna were the retired owners of Dahlgren Chevrolet in Mansfield, PA. Donna was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1947, and attended Elmira Business College. Bernice E. Davis, 90, formerly of Lawrenceville, PA, died November 15, 2006 at Founders Pavilion, Corning, NY. She was born July 13, 1916 in Lawrence Township, the daughter of Ernest and Vera Middaugh Tillinghast. Bernice attended the East Lawrence Baptist Church. He was born October 30, 1924 in Balls Mills, PA, the son of Trevette & Mary Elizabeth Brucklacher Dunkleberger. Short was a retired farmer, and also worked at Mansfield University & Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church, Friendship Lodge # 247 F&AM, and the Coudersport Consistory. Roswell was a retired farmer and salesman at the Tioga County Candy Company & Garrison’s Men’s Store. He enjoyed visiting with his coffee club friends at Eddie’s Restaurant, and was an avid gardener.
