Michael E. Vayansky, 66, of Mansfield, PA, passed away September 16, 2009. He was born October 29, 1942, in Monongahela, PA, the son of Michael & Helen Muia Vayansky. Michael graduated from California (PA) State Teacher’s College and Kent State University and did post-graduate work at Penn State University. In 1966 he married the former Ann Harvey and began teaching Physics and Astronomy at Mansfield State College; his teaching career continued through last Tuesday. He was a member of Holy Child Parish. Henrietta Mary Bohlayer VanNoy, 95, of Mansfield, passed away October 14, 2012, under the loving care of the staff at Carleton Senior Care, Wellsboro.  Born June 26, 1917 in Troy, PA, in her parents home, she was the daughter of William & Clara Kent Bohlayer.  On June 26, 1940, Etta married Raymond Milton VanNoy, and enjoyed 55 years of marriage until his passing on July 27, 1995.  Etta is survived by her daughters, Linda Thomas of Hornell, NY, & Judy VanNoy of Wellsboro, PA, grandchildren, Paige Baker, Scott VanNoy, Rich & Tina VanNoy, Craig & Cathy Thomas, Brent & Paula Thomas, Tyler, Lindsay, & Allison Housholder, 9 great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter, her brother Duane Bohlayer of Troy, PA, several nieces & nephews, close friends, Joann Wemesfelder, Jeff & Kelly Farrell, Gary Sauerbier, Lynne Weisbrod, Eleanor Love, & Genevieve Leet. She was predeceased by her sons, William & Byron.  Etta was an active participant in the Soul Link Church at Canoe Camp Choir, the Rebekahs, DLS, and was a lifetime member of Eastern Star.  Upon graduation from Mansfield Normal School, she taught at one room schoolhouses at Coreyland & Mosherville, later becoming a homemaker and co-owner of VanNoy’s Furniture in Mansfield.  Anyone who knows her can attest that she was the life of the party.  She also enjoyed riding motorcycle and dancing with Raymond.  Friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Etta’s life at the Gary Wilston Funeral home & Cremation Service 130 S. • Clara M. VanOrder, 91, of Lancaster, PA, passed away November 30, 2012 at Mt. Joy Hospice.  She was born July 18, 1921 in Alexandria, VA, the daughter of Giovanni & Francesca Sfrantonne DiPietro.  Clara was a homemaker most of her life.  She lived briefly in Buffalo, NY, where her sons were born, and most of her later life in Mountville, PA.  Clara was an avid Phillies fan and loved nothing more than getting together with family to play cards or board games.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Clara is survived by 3 sons, Raymond (husband of Sheryl) of Mount Joy, PA, David (husband of Jan) of Mountville, PA, Terry (companion of Cindy) of Centerville, PA, a granddaughter, Rebecca Eichelberger of Havelock, NC, a great-grandson, Ian Eichelberger of Havelock, NC, 4 step-grandchildren, 4 step- great grandchildren, and many much loved extended family members.  She was predeceased by her husband, Henry (Hank) in 1960, 2 sisters, Anna & Mary & 2 brothers, Henry & Vito.  Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service 130 S.
