Eddie R. Watkins, 72, of Tioga, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 26, 2017. He was born September 24, 1944, in Troy, PA, the son of Robert Watkins, Fran &  Elizabeth Beals Sykora. Eddie was a retiree of Ward Foundry, and a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Japan, Korea, and Germany, and was a Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Audrey Campbell, 2 daughters, Katina & Jeffery Truesdale of Walstonburg, NC, Lisa McCall & Daniel Schlicher of Lawrenceville, PA, 8 grandchildren, Megan (Jared) Andreason, Mackenzie, Payton, & Morgan Truesdale, Evan (Alexis), Christina (Nick), Michael, & Marc McCall, 3 brothers, Bruce (Sharon) Sykora of Tioga, PA, John Sykora of Millerton, PA, Dale Sykora of Mansfield, PA, 3 sisters, Joan (Richard) Watkins Bohonsky of Rogersville, MO, Bernadette Sykora of Millerton, PA, Claudette (Don) Brown of Canton, PA, 4 sisters-in-law, Deronda (Robert) Bieri of Lawrenceville, PA, Joyce Jones of Millerton, PA, Daphna (Tex) Watkins of Davenport, FL, Connie Campbell of Daggett, PA and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Robert Watkins, and his sister, Linda Dapp. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service 130 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA, Saturday from 11 AM – 1 PM. Funeral services will follow there Saturday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Debbie Button officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
